Here we are

The U.S. is full of troubled people,
they know not themselves
contrary to
words you
hear,

The governmental policies many
wish to invoke will shred
what's left of existence,
without
fear.

Half of the people surviving today
like the idea of being
harnessed to a
governmental
yoke,

The other half utterly dread the few
freedoms left will fade and
living with fools
will be no
joke.
