Quatrain of Empiricism

Philosophy, all concepts originate in
experience, all beliefs are knowable
only through experience.

Do you believe in a world conceived by
powers gifted from discernment, or
empirical notions of cognitive
frailty?

Casual sparks of elucidating beliefs, the
quest for awareness, is checkmated
by experience of illogical
cruelty.

I plead damnation to intuitive knowledge,
for it is limiting and forms endeavors
outside its spontaneous
origins.

A pleasing spread of divine revelation
comes only through an attempt to shed
evidence of neatly splayed carnal
sins.
