Quatrain of Lost Memories

Gone

The first time I tried to remember what
you said when we first met,
were thoughts I
couldn't
retrieve,

It scared me so, no doubt the Devil
diabolically took my stored
neurons and hid
them, with no
reprieve.

I once had a memory of you, so loving,
so graceful to the touch,
I planned on seeing
you in my mind
forever,

But time has passed, I can't recall one
thought or picture I once
did adore, now thinking
of you, is a lost
endeavor.

forget,

who

are

you?
Don't forget me
