Quatrain of If You Were

If You Were - a sigh of relief

If you were God, it is very
doubtful you would listen
to what others
have to
say.

One day they wish for glory,
the next they want all
sin and mayhem
to go
away.

Humans cannot be consistent
on where they stand,
always pushed by
emotional
sway.

It is good undertaking you're
not God, it would be a
waste of effort
every time I
pray.
