Cancer

With my intuition flowing overtime
and righteous thoughts strung
over sentimental
failing,

The worst of natural creativity is
left to dry up in a devotional
pool of letters, ready for
mailing,

I wrote you when I was down and
you never responded, or even
mentioned a word to a
friend,

And now I have taken my salvaged
passion and moved on, anticipating
my sensitivity will
end.
