Yorktown Disciple
Quatrain of Written Word

Written Word - it helps, but is
not definitive

The written word may contain
memories of a long
ago past with
readable
evidence,

There is no assurance what is
written is what really took
place, may not be
worth two
cents.

Memories certainly are transient,
but the words scribbled
may not contain
thoughts to
behold,

The written word is merely an
interpretation by someone
who thought it was how
life should
unfold.
