Yorktown Disciple
Quatrain of When It Was Time

Now

When it was time for me to
leave, I left dragging
my soul with
much
regret,

My love hadn't changed, I had
the same feelings
then as before,
but I was
upset.

And I bowed to your demand,
to let our spirits live
free of each
other once
more,

Not what I wanted, a decision
that kept sanity fighting
reality, without
going to
war.
