Vain Search - everyday

I am calling off my search for a
Higher Power, omniscient,
and can do more than
I,

It seems after all these years I
have found little help to
guide me, as I wander
awry.

My looking has led to many
strange places, some I'm
ashamed to
mention or
retell,

If I promise to keep searching
through good and evil, may I
be forgiven with a free
pass out of
Hell.
