Truth Diet - losing weight

I went on a very strict diet of
truth and nothing else,
found my ideas losing
weight,

I thought I was always true to
my soul, but lied to myself
at a pound losing
rate.

The more truth I digested, the
more honesty I had to defend,
a diet of truth is hard to
maintain,

If I hadn't been indulging so heavily
in lies, I could have partaken of
truth in moderation, my diet
would not have been in
vain.
