Time Past - oh yes

The best and the brightest have
all died, they left the
earth many years
ago,

It was a time when the Country
was young, the land was
open; dreams to
sow.

It required real patriots to sever
the ties with a Monarchy
and breathe life into
freedom,

This took the best God has ever
made, it's too bad they couldn't
be alive today, we really
need 'em.
