Quatrain of Temporary Happiness

Temporary Happiness - the easy life doesn't last

At first glance it appears life is
easier to navigate when the
rules of morality are
relaxed,

After all, you can do what you
wish more easily knowing
some morals are no longer
taxed.

But in the end, a society that
lets sin roam freely is bound
to get trapped in its own
deceit,

Life becomes much harder when
the lines of virtue are blurred
and everyone becomes a
godless cheat.
