Quatrain of Taken For Granted

Taken For Granite - the way it is

When a man is young, life is
taken for granted; is
terminally easy to
thwart.

As he grows older, life begins
to have more meaning,
it has greater
import.

This is not so because the years
become fewer, it is so
because of Godly
intrigue,

In his lifetime, a man crosses
a threshold where living is
holy; dying, out of his
league.
