With the straight of
Jaun de Fuca traversing
the curved spine of
Northwestern
fortitude,


The majesty of regional
artistry that portends
the welcome scent
of wildlife
eschewed,


The nature it reveals runs
deep within the heart of
every soul that takes
this land as
home,


And I shall bear witness
to the greatest natural
wonder where my friends
and forebears
roam.
