Quatrain of Oregon

Oregon (1859)

With timber standing like
soldiers up the back of
flavored love on mountains
tall,


With rogue ideas roaring
down my mind where rocks
hold firm like heaven's
wall,


I feel empowered by a
garden of patriotic plateaus
where Klamath river runs with
force,


Oregon, the land I love,
inspires self contained ideas
of life, with intuition to out
source.
