Quatrain of Star Strangled Banner

Star Strangled Banner - our next phase

1
Oh, say can you see by the sunset's
last freedom and dimming
light,

What so proudly we once hailed as
American Greatness on its last
setting?

Whose broad moral strips and dull
thoughts in a perilous
fight.

O'er the ramparts we watched
where gallantry has become
regretting.

2
And the rockets on hold, so as not
to offend those who are
bold,

Gave proof through the day that
our courage is truly on
hold,

Oh, say does the flag no longer
wave as a proud symbol of us
all,

O'er the land of diversity, and the
home of the weak and the
small,

Oh, say can you see by the dawn’s early light What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming? Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight, O’er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming? And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
