Quatrain of Spit It Out

Spit It Out - the soul

Promises made can be just words,
or they can be meaningful
and morally
apparent,

Use promises wisely, when broken,
they don't go back together
easily; remain
errant.

Commitments of the spiritual kind
need be held to a higher
standard for the sake of
trust,

A promise unkept is a sin against God,
it will come back to bite the soul;
spit out the spirit in one
thrust.
