Quatrain of Simpler Life

Simpler Life - yearning for the
good old days

How sad life became when
the horseless carriage
was befitted first
rate,

How wonderful it was to ride
around, clippety-clop,
behind a horse's
gait.

Serenity left mankind faster
than gas fumes evaporate
in the air, with
ease,

If we could just go back to the
good old days, life could be a
humble ride in God's carriage
with the love of nature in
the face like a cool
breeze.
