The Other Side - two sides to living

If we can't believe in the same
ideology, we must carefully
tread on our values, so
we can remain good
friends,

One is not more precious than
the other, your beliefs are
as important as my
convictions, no
need to make
amends.

Life is a tight rope that we must
walk, we cannot convert all
others to see the credence
that we so often try to
hide,

In order to share this planet, every
once in awhile we must suck it up
and go along with those we love
and see the other
side,
