Quatrain of Saddle-Sore

Saddle-Sore - let it be

I wish I had a saddle; a horse
to put it on, so it
could carry me
home,

I've been lost in the wilderness
of your dreams ever
since God has been
known,

I wish to ride all the way to
your heart, where I can
find comfort for my
soul,

Give me a saddle and a horse, I
want to ride until I'm saddle
sore, or until we meet
at love's water
hole.
