Quatrain of Rusty Love

Rusty Love - keep polished

Love can erode, it need be
brushed, polished
and cleansed
daily, not
disowned,

Let not, love rust, use it as
you would a knife
blade, whet it,
and keep it
honed.

Love ought sparkle, it should
glisten beneath warm
sunshine, pitch
fever at
night,

Let not, love be neglected,
not to wait on a table
for meat to cut -
use it, tis a
human right.
