Quatrain of Windy Valediction

Wind - movement of air relative to the earth
Valediction - the act of bidding farewell

1.
Eternity came, eternity went,
and there I stood,
with no place to
go,

I loved once, I loved forever,
I never thought it would
be fidelity I'd
forgo.

But the winds of elastic change
are now beckoning
my everlasting
soul,

I must leave, hit the road,
and move away from your
barren and dry dust
bowl.

2.
Climatic change has come
to replace what we once
knew and could
afford,

From this day on, crashing
sounds of thunderous
clouds, will be our
reward.

We lost the beginning,
from all the bad winters,
forcing us to grow
cold,

And now, I must move on,
before heaven finds out,
I am getting climatically
old.
