Turaco - colorful African bird


I was hatched from an egg
by the grace of a God who
gave me comfort in a
nest,

My intentions were noble
and my mission statement
was brightly painted on my
chest,

I came into this world to
utilize properties of flight
without wearing patent
leather,

I was born to transform all
injustice into moral ideals
while soaring on a Turaco
feather.
