Quatrain of Theological Thunderstorms
Quatrain of Theological Thunderstorms

Thunderstorms - atmospheric disturbance

1.
Whenever I search for God
the heavens grow black as
coal,

It is as if the forbidding
atmosphere is hiding a spiritual
soul.

Perhaps God does not wish
I find where He passes his
days,

Perhaps He hides behind the
lightening that turns the sky
ablaze.

2.
It may be it takes more than
one lifetime for a formal
introduction,

It may be I must pray harder
and wait for a temperature
reduction.

It is frightening standing in
the middle of a massive
thunderstorm,

Waiting for God to appear,
so I might understand, why I was
born.
