sword, piercing anyone
who stands in the
way,

Justified by the belief in a
spiritual qualifier as though
God were here to
pray.

The iron hand of self imposed
laws cobbled together
without stones
unturned,

Ancient thoughts control
modern wisdom as if
nothing new has been
learned.
