Quatrain of Purulent Politician
Quatrain of Purulent Politician

Purulent Politician - a politician full of
putrid puss-like ideas

He played me like a fiddle,
as though my freedom was
three strings short
of a complete
guitar,

He thought I wouldn't notice
when he voted to take
away my rights faster
than a shooting
star.

Tyranny is setting in, the
democratic way slowly
being edged out, hung
by its own
petard,

The country I once loved has
fallen from grace, and now
I'm left with liberty
I cannot
guard.
