Quatrain of Podocarpaceae


Podocarpaceae - tree family



1.
The plant of everlasting shadows,
swaying in a breeze of earth's
embrace,

Stretching to the sky defying gravity
upon roots deep down clinging to
grace.

The tree, a symbol of moral seeds,
with growth appearing noble and
gifted,

Marking the domain of a thousand
creatures, enabling their hearts to be
uplifted.


2.
Forests stand as the covering for star
dust, enveloping a floating, galactic
ball,

Without branches of unborn knowledge,
spiritual endeavor would not last at
all,

The gift of the podocarpaceae, with all
its wooden strength and numerical
gallantry,

Would leave the human species roaming
the earth, in search of uprooted
amnesty.
