Quatrain of Our Times
Our Times - they are a changing
My beliefs, solid as the Rock of
Gibraltar, unchanging in a
world of moral
decline,
I hold fast to what I know and to
what my mother taught from
her knowledge of the
Divine.
I shall look for my salvation as I pass
judgment on those with lesser
values borne of evil
crimes.
My beliefs, solid as the Rock of Gibraltar,
I need a strong value system
planted in my brain to
weather the times.
