remember


You laid down in a grassy
meadow with your smile
facing the
sky,

I fell in love when I touched
your soul as a light breeze
swept us
by,

With a mountain in the
backdrop, a river winding
beneath birds of
prey,

The memory of seeing you
stare at the clouds, more
precious than this
day.
