Quatrain of Learning To Write

Learning To Write - can't be done in thin air

Without technology, man could not
learn to read or write,
numbers wouldn't
be counted
out.

Without paper or pen, there'd be
no place to put down
an alphabet the
mind might
sprout.

Without tools to inspire language
there is no way to etch
letters on stone for
the eye to
see.

Without technology there's no way
to write, no numbers to know; it
takes a technical advantage
to hold a spelling
bee.
