Kept Indoors - a bad feeling
Take the boy out of the country,
wait for a generation
to take
hold.
Keep the boy in the city, wait for
his morals to begin
to quietly
unfold.
Take the man out of the country,
at first he feels free
of his farm
chores,
Keep the man in the city, he feels
like a farm animal
kept gamely
indoors.
