Quatrain of Husband Or Wife

Husband Or Wife - who should I be

If I were a man getting ready
to marry another man, I
wouldn't want to be the
wife.

I would much prefer to be a
man's man; become the
hailer of strength and
strife.

Why would I wish to have
others see me in a woman's
role, when in fact I am
male?

Without being the husband,
and not being the wife, I
would travel life, on a
third rail.
