Holy Brew - liquor that's been blessed
Swill thy joules with fresh whiskey,
rinse thy uppers with a
shot of holy
brew,
For thine is glory of God's science
that turns ordinary grain
into delirium
stew,
Grace slides down the throat when
in swigging dribbles and
mercy travels
slow,
The righteous rise up in a blur;
the drunkard looks for
another drink on skid
row.
