Quatrain of Growing Up

Growing Up - after adulthood, it's to
late

Disturbing! Thy veritable hope in
the beginning of life, is to
grow up once you get
old.

There is a surprise in store, the
days travel fast, there is
no time for learning to
unfold,

In reality, you will become more
like a child, following others
while sucking your
thumb,

Sadly, you will not become wiser,
tis fact, you will become
more half-witted and
dumb.
