Following You - it's just not possible

I would follow you to the ends
of earth, but since the earth
is round, there is no place
for you to take
me.

I would get on bended knees and
ask you for your love, but
I would be out of sight
for you to
see.

I would follow you to the altar,
if you had a leash I could
wear, I wouldn't wander
off and get
lost,

I would get on my high horse and
have you hop behind and ride
with me, but I'm afraid
we'd both be
tossed.
