Quatrain of Feeling Safe
Quatrain of Feeling Safe

Feeling Safe - there is but one place

I snuggled up in my mother's
arms when I was
three years
old,

I felt safe from the world, as
beliefs of divinity
began to
unfold.

Alas! My mother was a god to
me, impeding harm
from entering
in,

To this day I feel safe, when
I think of touching
my mother's
skin.
