End Times - prophecy of tomorrow

1.
Every generation sees the world
coming to an end, as if revelational,
and based on current
events,

Floods, famine, petulance and nasty
wars, are all indicators that lead
the living to fold their
tents.

Every devastating disaster is worse
than the one before; God seems
to be running out of
patience,

Armageddon is inbred in our logic;
what we see sharply counters
what is known of earths
essence

2.
The shifting of the continents, the rise
and fall of glacial ice, with tectonic
plates constantly in
motion,

Lead us to believe the worse has
arrived and death will surely be the
end result of a rising
ocean.

My bones, rattling in fear, as I
contemplate the earth breaking in
half while I stand smack dab in the
middle,

O, if the end is near, leave the lights
on until I am gone since I hate the
dark as much as an unsolved
riddle.
