Quatrain of Deism

Deism - God created the world
and became indifferent

Alas! God created the
world then quietly went on
vacation to a corner of
space,

He set all life in motion
along with billions of
bodies that spin with
grace,

Indifference! An attribute
hard to accept, but God
sees cold, aloof winds
blowing,

We are floating through
space on our own; we'd
better learn where we're
going!
