Quatrain of Compromised Faith

Compromise - settlement of differences
by mutual concession

We are bound by our insights,
moving about in the dark
by a world difficult to
see,

It is possible to live our entire
lives without ever knowing
how out of touch we can
be.

We Grasp reality without proper
training, or look at the
light of day with eyes
fossilized,

Amaurotic to our existence we
die before ever understanding,
faith cannot be
compromised.
