Cocklebur - a weedy annual plant


I set out to find the road to
eternity just past
sunset,

I had no flashlight or compass,
just a lit
cigarette.

I was planning to retire from
living as an
entrepreneur,

Alas!  I traded my tobacco sin
for clusters of
cocklebur.
