sharing of the nonwhite population


We wrestled emotional
gifts against the
sins of
apartheid,

We watched as skin
colored learned
to existentially
divide,

It was the force of
knowledge too great
for a mind to
obtain,

It was the rules of
separation that
were easier to
maintain.
