Quatrain of Anorexia

Anorexia - food disorder

Anorexia, an eating disorder twisted
and twirled at the table,
behind a closed
door,

A regurgitating exercise to prevent
fat from clinging to bones
for someone to
adore.

Staring into a mirror seeing a frame
that does not exist,
hoping not to get
caught.

Wasting my body and my soul,
because my view of the
world is my food for
thought.
