You cannot age gracefully, life
is a chore from the
minute you are
born,

Aging requires the endless effort
of watching for the
death signs that
forewarn.

At times you miss death only by
chance, other times you
outsmart your
Maker,

All times you are on the lookout
for pain, for it is pain
that becomes your
caretaker.
