Purpose Of Pain - yes, it has a purpose

Oh, pain, it starts on the right
side of ungodly thoughts
and moves to the left
of righteousness
prevailing,

It is a burning sensation emanating
from evil thoughts and can
only be quenched
by love's
unveiling.

Without true pain as a partner, it
would be hard to know what
happiness is and certainly
what it is
not,

It is not possible to find the value
of life without evil forcing the
soul to acknowledge
what pain has
wrought.
