Yorktown Disciple
Quatrain of Pragmatic Idiot

Pragmatic Idiot - too many to count

Once upon a time I was pragmatic
idiot, I allowed the government
to make others
squeal.

I turned a blind eyes to corruption
just to help my standing;
allowed the dishonest to
steal.

I patted myself on the back whenever
it put citizenry up for grabs;
I let the minions find their
soul,

The government loves useful knuckle
heads like me, I get my half
while they get the
whole.
