Quatrain of Plow Under

Plow Under - my whole life

I can't make it as a farmer,
I hate being a tourist
or a playboy
on the
loose,

What am I to do with my life
if I can't decide my
future, I wish
not be a
recluse.

I know I was meant for a life
of importance, I have the
capacity to be a
philosophical
wonder,

If I could just sell the wheat
I've sown, I could quit
farming, start over;
plow my past
completely
under.
