Quatrain of Path Of Sorrow

Path Of sorrow - the road I traveled

There is sorrow on my conscience,
it is no comfort to my
soul that now
needs
rest,

I trampled all the corn rows into
the ground as I traveled
life in an attempt
to do my
best,

Oh, Lord, the path I took was way
off the road you told me
to take, but I
wouldn't
listen,

And as I now approach Heaven, I
have no food to eat, only
a barren life you
have no reason
christen.
