Quatrain of One Possibility

One Possibility - the future

The future does not have many
possibilities, actually,
it only has
but one
outcome,

No matter how hard we might
try to change what's
coming, to death
we will
succumb.

If there is a happy lining ahead,
it will arrive after we have
left this life now being
unfurled.

Perhaps, just perhaps, we really
don't understand the future,
what's next could be the
beginning of a
dreamworld.
