It is a common myth to believe
mankind is loving; generally
will do what is
good.

We react to the world out of
instinct and keep for
ourselves benefits
understood.

Being mean does not often serve
our purpose, it is natural
to be kind to all
men,

But when it comes right down to
it, we are the essence of evil
with a little goodness
now and then.
