Not Grateful - don't be

To be grateful for the
bounties you have
is to miss the
point,

You must earn what is
yours, you must
not let others
anoint.

If you receive blessings
without working to be
divine, your spirit will
fumble,

Your gratitude will be
be a crock, you will
pretend to make
yourself seem
humble.
