Quatrain of No History

No History - we remember little

For most of us, history is not our
strong suit, in fact, it is the
weakest part of our
recollection,

We cannot look back and reasonably
remember what came first
or last through
introspection.

Therefore, progress comes slowly,
the same mistakes are made
today as were made years
ago,

Our learning is the worst because we
think we retain way more
knowledge than we
actually
know.
